    vivo has finally unveiled the V19 and V19 Neo via its first-ever, all-digital local launch “Ignite the Night”, giving fans and smartphone enthusiasts a look at how using its latest technology and handsets can lead to new night experiences.

    The online event, which was livestreamed on vivo’s Facebook page, also set the stage for the introduction of the brand’s latest endorsers, the globally-successful pop band LANY whose music and style embody the ‘ignite the night’ attribute of the V19 series flagship smartphones.

    Audiences who tuned in to the online event were treated to an exclusive premiere of LANY’s online commercial which showed band members Paul Jason Klein, Charles Leslie “Les” Priest, and Jake Clifford Goss taking a selfie using the vivo V19 series and encouraging their fans to “ignite your night”.

    Taking cue from LANY’s challenge, the brand gave away three (3) brand-new V19 Neo smartphones to lucky fans who joined an online contest during the launch event. The audience also participated in a digital live polling which showed what they like most about the event and the V19 handsets.

    Among the most-liked features of the flagship smartphones are its 48MP AI quad camera and 32MP front camera, which along with the super night selfie and super night photography features, lets users ignite and celebrate their nighttime passions.

    “In today’s new normal, the V19 series represents a bold step into a new direction for vivo as we focus on empowering the younger market with not just technology-laden smartphones that would enhance their lifestyles, but also a means for them to pursue, enjoy, and share their passions and endeavors, especially at night,” noted Charisma Buan, vivo PR team lead.

    The vivo V19 smartphones have a glossy finished body in Gleam Black and Sleek Silver night-time colorways. The V19 Neo retails for P17,999.

    When you hear the song “Don’t Start Now” by English singer/songwriter Dua Lipa, what initially comes to mind? Do you imagine the visually stunning music video tied to it, or is your mind flooded with mental images of a plethora of dance covers on TikTok?

    Indeed, TikTok has become a global phenomenon and, lately, has sort of become a therapy for most people especially in light of the community quarantines enforced worldwide. And with millions of active users on the platform, coming up with fresh and unique videos may seem like a daunting task.

    Fear not because collecting plenty of views, likes, and followers on this rapidly growing platform is not impossible. Here are 8 tips on how to make Tik-Toks that stand out:

    Immerse yourself in the “For You” page

    Developing ideas and crafting them into your latest TikTok might be difficult due to the sea of clips already out there. But who says you can’t draw inspiration from these clips? Binge watch videos on the “For You” page to get a sense of what’s hot, what’s not, and what hasn’t been created yet.

    Use your own audio clips

    While TikTok has a vast library of songs and audio clips, they are only offered in segments lasting no more than a minute. Got a favorite? Why not use a separate device to play audio clips of your choice. Be wary of copyright infringement though.

    Make every second count

Get your child to colour the map of Australia based on their own interpretation.   Pro tip: use this time to teach about the different colouring techniques such as gradient colouring, or using watercolours aside from just coloured pencils.

    The Unconfined Cinema showcases various Filipino films at Art Fair Philippines 2020.

    Marking 100 years of Philippine Cinema, Art Fair Philippines in partnership with Epson Philippines presented The Unconfined Cinema—Art Fair’s inaugural film section which showcased masterful local films as a collective representation of Philippine Cinema without boundaries.

    Curated by film critic Philbert Dy, film composer Erwin Romulo and film archivist and historian Teddy Co., The Unconfined Cinema utilized three Epson EB-L1505 high brightness laser projectors to screen various Filipino films from February 21-23 at The Link in Makati City. Showcasing the power of Epson’s 3LCD technology, the films were projected with uncompromised quality, delighting the audience with stunning images and vibrant colors which brought more life to some of the country’s best films.

    Art Fair Philippines kicked off the 10 Days of Art with a dedicated film section to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Philippine cinema this year. Curating the showcase were film critic Philbert Dy, award-winning writer and editor Erwin Romulo, and film archivist and historian Teddy Co.

    Together with Samsung Philippines and other partners, the ArtFairPH/Film section opened at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City with “The Unconfined Cinema: An Outdoor Cinema Experience” where attendees were invited to a different kind of film viewing.

    The venue was decorated with carpets and pillows, allowing guests to lay down and enjoy blockbuster movie “One More Chance” which was projected on the ceiling of the dome. Guests also had the option to stream the audio directly to their smartphones via CiNet.com app.

    Fans were also treated to a live script reading of “That Thing Called Tadhana” with director Antoinette Jadaone and lead stars of “One More Chance”, with the help of a Samsung 82-inch Premium UHD 4K TV.
