Marvin Vea, owner of Vea Eco Farm, demonstrates the use of a composting machine by crushing coconut husks that transform into cocopeat, a plant-friendly growing medium for lettuce and other high-value crops.
Vea Eco Farm has received an assistance of the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Soils and Water Management to boost and increase the productivity in growing lettuce and other high-value crops.
The Vea Eco Farm in Bagbago, Solsona, Ilocos Norte is also a learning site for practical agriculture.
