The PCAP GM Wesley So Cup 5.0 will unite the country’s finest minds on the chessboard.
Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) is the very first professional chess league in the Philippines and in the world, approved and established by the Games and Amusement Board (GAB) of the Philippines on July 28, 2020.
Its mission is to give Filipino chess enthusiasts the opportunity to hone and showcase their skills, and promote the love of the game – by ensuring integrity and fairness for professional chess in the Philippines. PCAP was formed, forty five (45) years after the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) was established.
PCAP is registered with the Securities And Exchange Commission (SEC) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) of the Philippines as a Non-Stock Non-Profit Organizations related to Activities of Other Membership Organizations of Professional Chess Association and Professional Chess League.
The PCAP’s first (1st) Conference is the All-Filipino Conference that has started on January 16, 2021 with a total of three (3) conferences each season.

The application for PCAP New Players’ Pool is now open to all Filipino, 18 years old and above, and have some playing skills in chess. All applications will be sent to and reviewed by all team owners and team coaches of PCAP. And perhaps you are the one they are waiting for to play for them in the upcoming PCAP Season 4, 1st Conference chess tournament.

Who else wants to join the Road to PCAP CHAMPIONSHIP: 6th Leg of PCAP Champions League?
ALLAN DIEZ has organized and sponsored the Road to PCAP CHAMPIONSHIP: 6th Leg of PCAP Champions League on February 24, 2024 (Saturday) which will be held at Damosa Market Basket, Lanang, Davao City. This chess tournament is a Games and Amusement Board (GAB)-Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Sanctioned Tournament.
The Champions League is with minimum of 8 Legs Nationwide; GAB-PCAP Sanctioned Tournaments; Leg Champion will receive a PCAP trophy and represent in the Champions League; Transportation, food, board and lodging will be shouldered by PCAP; and Champions League Finals will be held in Metro Manila.
This exciting and intriguing chess tournament is a time control: 15 minutes + 3 seconds increment and the chess players who’ll win the tournament will receive special wards and prizes. The 6th-10th place; 5th place; 4th place; 3rd place; 2nd place and CHAMPION will receive P500 each; P1,000; P2,000; P6,000; P7,000; & P10,000, respectively. Besides, a Special Awards of P500 each will be given away of the said upcoming chess tournament.
