And as families take part in this universal experience, it is also in these moments that people gain a newfound appreciation for the things that truly matter to them.

    PLDT Home’s newest campaign video circles on redefining relationships and creating deeper emotional bonds in the family by rediscovering one’s strongest connections at home. The short film “Rediscover Home” depicts the changes between the normalcy people used to enjoy pre-quarantine, and the life they now know in the new normal.

    The video starts with the sudden announcement of the community quarantine, and how this compelled families to postpone the events they were looking forward to – from upcoming trips to exciting fiestas, quiz nights, videoke nights, travels, and get-togethers. Despite these unprecedented changes, families found new ways to bond together such as family dinners, online shopping, and movie nights at home. Whatever lifestyles they are used to and different social status they are in, one thing is common: these families rediscovered the happiness and bond in simple things inside their homes. 

    “Rediscover Home” highlights that although many enjoyable activities have been put on hold for now, nothing compares to the joy that comes in rediscovering one’s home, creating deeper and meaningful relationships, and enjoying new bonding activities no matter how simple it can be as long as  you’re in the company of the people that truly matter to you – family.

    Mobile photography enthusiasts were treated to a Night Photography masterclass as leading global technology company, vivo, and renowned photographer and videographer, Cocoy Ponce, teamed up to host the #V19PerfectTheNightWorkshop last July 15.

    Through his impressive shots of the otherwise normal EDSA stretch, Ponce proved that with the vivo V19 Neo and low-light photography know-hows, one could make mundane things seem extraordinary.

    Ponce, a “visual storyteller” skilled in travel and lifestyle photography, hosted a mobile photography workshop via vivo’s official Facebook page, covering topics such as tips and tricks to master night photography, the importance of exposure in low-light settings, and post-processing images taken with a smartphone.

    In the workshop, Ponce presented the difference between shooting with the vivo V19 Neo’s normal photo mode (L) and its innovative Super night mode (R).

    PLDT Home launches a FREE virtual concert on July 14, 2020 themed “At Home with PLDT: No Learner Left Behind” for the benefit of students, teachers, and schools in partnership with PLDT-Smart Foundation. Top billed by the country’s music icons and artists, the initiative aims to raise funds to address the needs and challenges of Filipinos as they face the new normal in digital learning.

    The virtual concert gathers Filipino musical artists led by National Artist for Music Maestro Ryan Cayabyab together with OPM icons Regine Velasquez-Alcasid alongside husband, Ogie, Martin Nievera, and Pops Fernandez. The concert will be hosted by comedian and theater actor Jon Santos and directed by the award-winning concert director Paolo Valenciano.
