Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center Celebrates 4th Anniversary with Grand Event and New Milestones

Manila, August 28, 2024 — In a spectacular celebration held at The Elements At Centris, Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center marked its 4th anniversary with the grand launch event titled “Love Above All 2024.” The evening was a testament to the brand’s unwavering commitment to self-love, empowerment, and giving back to the community, featuring inspiring speeches, performances, and the much-anticipated unveiling of their latest initiatives.

A Night of Milestones and Memories

The event was graciously hosted by the dashing emcees, who are also Dear Self’s brand ambassadors, Ric Abasola and Allan Dale Alojipan, who set the tone for the evening with their dynamic presence and engaging style. They guided the audience through a night filled with heartfelt moments, stunning performances, and the celebration of new beginnings.

The highlight of the evening was the official launch of the “Love Above All” TV commercial, a first in the history of Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center. Mr. Kenneth Tecson, the Chief Marketing Officer, shared the inspiration behind the commercial, emphasizing its deeper meaning beyond mere advertising.

“Hindi ito basta commercial lang—ito ang kwento na sumasalamin sa bawat isa sa atin, at sa bawat isa na naniniwala at sumusuporta sa likod ng Dear Self. Kwento natin ito. This isn’t just a commercial; it’s our story,” Kenneth expressed with pride. He elaborated on the use of the artistic concept of chiaroscuro in the commercial, symbolizing the duality of life and the journey of self-discovery. “Love Above All” isn’t just a theme anymore; it has become a philosophy that has guided us through every decision, every challenge, and every success.”

Following Kenneth’s powerful message, madam Krystal Tecson-Garalde, Chief Executive Officer, took the stage to deliver an inspiring speech centered around the core value of love. Krystal shared how love has been the driving force behind the brand since its inception, transforming it from a family venture into a community-focused mission.

“Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center was founded on the belief that when you love yourself, you have more love to give to others. Our mission is to help each individual find and nurture their sense of self-love, so they can live more fulfilling and connected lives,” Krystal stated. She extended her gratitude to the marketing team, brand ambassadors, and every member of the staff, acknowledging their dedication to making the brand’s vision a reality.

    A Night of Amazing Performances

The celebration continued with a series of stellar performances that brought the night to life. The audience was treated to a captivating musical experience by special guest Ms. Pinky Marquez, whose soulful voice resonated with the theme of the evening. The BOB Band and Dad’s Circle added to the vibrant atmosphere with their performances.

The brand ambassadors of Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center also took the spotlight, showcasing their talents and embodying the spirit of the brand. Among them was Lucky Robles of Tanghalan ng Kampeon, Marty Linan of Tawag ng Tanghalan and Sing-galing, Eden Faith Lucay Lucay and Rainner Acosta of WCOPA 2023 and Josh Nubla of Dream Maker. Each performance was a celebration of self-love and empowerment, echoing the values that Dear Self holds dear.

Introducing Feelicity: A New Chapter of Wellness

In a significant moment during the event, Ms. Michel Requilman, the Chief Operations Officer of Feelicity, took the stage to introduce the newly launched Feelicity Spa and Wellness Center. Michel shared her vision and excitement for the new venture, highlighting how Feelicity will complement Dear Self’s mission by offering a holistic approach to wellness.

“At Feelicity, we believe in the power of holistic wellness to enhance the overall well-being of our clients. This new chapter is an extension of our commitment to helping individuals live their best lives, both inside and out,” Michel expressed.

Closing Remarks and a Look to the Future

The evening concluded with a heartfelt closing message from Mr. Christian Tecson, Chief Financial Officer of Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the event. Christian’s message underscored the importance of community and the collective efforts that have brought the brand to where it is today.

“We are more than just a brand; we are a family. And tonight, we celebrate not just our achievements, but the love and dedication that each of you has poured into making Dear Self what it is today,” Christian said, leaving the audience with a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.

As the night drew to a close, guests left with a sense of fulfillment and inspiration, having witnessed the embodiment of love, empowerment, and self-care that Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center stands for.

  • 22nd Development Policy Research Month Kick-off Forum and Press Conference

The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) will hold its kick-off event for the 22nd
Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) celebration on September 5, 2024, from 9:30 AM to
12:00 PM at Novotel Manila Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City.

The DPRM is a month-long nationwide celebration led by PIDS every September, in accordance with
Malacañang Proclamation 247. It aims to promote the pivotal role of policy research in evidence
    based decision-making and effective policymaking.

This year’s theme is “Securing a Future for All by Growing a Resilient Middle Class”, or in Filipino,
“Pagtiyak ng Kinabukasan sa Lahat sa Pamamagitan ng Pagtatag ng Malakas na Middle Class”. It is
grounded on the Philippines’ AmBisyon Natin 2040, which envisions “a prosperous middle-class
society where no one is poor”, emphasizing the middle class’ quality of life and their role in promoting
    the country’s development.

This kick-off forum and press conference aims to engage our media partners in raising public
awareness of the DPRM, the significance of policy research, and the major activities lined up this year.
It also emphasizes the importance of collaboration among various sectors to seize opportunities to
expand and strengthen the middle class amid global and local challenges.

Speakers will include senior researchers from PIDS, along with distinguished leaders from government,
academe, private sector, and civil society. They will share invaluable insights on the multi-pronged
strategies needed to provide opportunities for expansion and new wealth creation, which can
transform the middle class into a more resilient driver of social good.

Further details on the DPRM may be accessed from the DPRM website at https://dprm.pids.gov.ph/.
