    Finding success in the food industry is undeniably more challenging, but Chef Lau and Chef Jackie’s responded with constant adaptation and practical reinvention.

    To help the thousands of devastated Filipinos in Visayas and Mindanao grappling with the aftermath of super typhoon Odette, Shopee launches its Shopee Bayanihan: Typhoon Odette Support initiative wherein users can buy donation vouchers through the app, with the commitment to match up to ₱1,000,000 worth of total donations made to Shopee’s partner charities for this initiative.

    From December 23, 2021, to January 4, 2022, Shopee users can purchase the donation e-vouchers that will be used for water kits, health, and sanitation stations, and other essentials such as food and clothes from partner charities UNICEF, World Vision, and GMA Kapuso Foundation.     1. Crocs won customers with curated pages during campaigns

    Through their Shopee store, Crocs created curated pages for campaigns and collections easily. In the recent 11.11 Big Christmas Sale, the brand achieved a 65x uplift in orders compared to the usual, alongside Shopee’s marketing solutions such as Flash Deals and Rush Hour sales. John Darryl Bonifacio, E-Commerce Manager at Crocs, said, “At Crocs, we think of people first at every step and during the pandemic, safety was every Filipino’s priority. Retail store closures were inevitable with the lockdown measures but Shopee has allowed us to reach customers across the country.”

    1. SM Online boosted sales after first-ever Super Brand Day

    In 2021, SM attained many e-commerce milestones through Shopee, including a successful first-ever Super Brand Day that helped increase sales, and an all-time spike in orders during the 11.11 Big Christmas Sale. In the recent 7.7 Mid-Year Sale and 8.8 Mega Flash Sale campaigns, The SM Store’s participation in the TV Flash segment resulted in a significant increase of their 2021 orders and GMV.     1. NIVEA tapped into a new target market through new initiatives

    Uniq.mnl

    Uniq.mnl is owned by Ireen and Ira, two sisters who combined their stores into one. Transitioning wasn’t easy and they worked hard to maintain customer satisfaction by utilizing Shopee’s in-app tools. With clear goals, the shop ended 2020 with an 8-figure gross profit.

    Orangeandpeach

    Orange and Peach Philippines is a 100% Filipino Mom and Baby Essentials Store owned by Jasslyn. She struggled to convert sales due to some limitations but even with the setback, it didn’t stop her from trying, and eventually gained the consumers’ trust.

    Randashoesofficial

    Randashoesofficial started as a small shoe manufacturing facility in 2014 and Ric joined Shopee as a seller in 2019, making it a full-time commitment. The challenges pushed him to do better and are now growing on the platform – even surpassing their previous sales.

    Wanting to share their expertise in the homecare industry, Mico from Mightyclean started his Shopee Seller journey during the height of the pandemic last year. Even though he had become one of the best-selling brands on the platform, he never stopped learning new things and continued to sharpen his entrepreneurial skills.

    Dana of dnemnlph started selling online when she was in high school and has had her fair share of ups and downs before she first joined Shopee in 2015.
