THE COCA-COLA COMPANY IS SHARING HAPPINESS AND REFRESHMENTS FOR 125 YEARS AND BEYOND AMONG THE NATIONS

The Coca-Cola Company celebrates 125 years of brand Coca-Cola. For 125 years, they have been sharing happiness and refreshing the entire world.

According to the company, since its existence at a soda fountain in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, in 1886, Coca-Cola has been a catalyst for social interaction and inspired innovation.

Coca-Cola was created by John S. Pemberton in May 8, 1886 and served at Jacobs’ Pharmacy. Nine drinks a day are sold during this year. Their company accountant, Frank Robinson names the drink “Coca-Cola, and thinking the two Cs would look well in advertising, pens the famous Spencerian script logo.

The first newspaper ad appears announcing Coca-Cola as a “Delicious and Refreshing Beverage.”

In the Philippines, the start of something big of brand Coca-Cola was originally imported into the country by Mr. M. A. Clarke in 1913. After that, in 1927, the San Miguel Brewery purchased the franchise to bottle Coca-Cola in the Philippines.

Today, Coca-Cola in the Philippines celebrates 100 years and beyond sharing happiness in the nation. The Company and its affiliates has launched the exhibit of Coca-Cola productsand its activities from its beginnings and up to the present.
